I’ve written written five books, ‘A year of the balls’, ‘When Freddie became Jesus’, ‘Australian Autopsy’, ‘Test Cricket: the unauthorised Biography’ and ‘The Lillee of Campbellfield’.
I was co-director and writer of the documentary ‘Death of a Gentleman’. Formerly I was ESPNcricinfo’s global cricket writer.
I edited the magazine ‘Spin Cricket’. I’ve commentated for ABC Grandstand and talkSPORT, and appeared as a talking head on BBC, NDTV, 3AW, SABC, and CNN. Hosted cricket podcasts with Gideon Haigh, John Buchanan and Andy Zaltzman. Explained cricket for Netflix. And had my own cricket radio show.
Inside cricket I have worked as an analyst for St Lucia Stars, Scotland and the Melbourne Stars. I also became General Manager of St Lucia Stars. I have worked for teams, players and coaches around the world.
I’ve covered more than 100 Tests, more than 10 ICC tournaments, and toured over nine cricket nations.
